Best Kiss Scene in Korean Dramas

The kissing moments in Korean drama series are the most unforgettable. Despite saying that, not many of the Korean drama kiss scenes are that good especially when compared to the Hollywood movies. Sometimes I wonder whether that is how Korean man and woman kiss - so reserved, and lack of passion. Therefore, if there are really great kiss scenes in K-drama, fans will immediately go hooha about it.

Below are the three best kiss scenes that I have encountered in Korean drama series so far, if you disagee with me, please let me know your favourite kiss scene among the K-drama you have watched.

In the drama, "Mary Stayed Out All Night", after Jang Geun Suk and Wi Mae Ri denied their attraction to each other for some time, they just could not resist the passion and fire that has held up so long within them.  After a really exciting run-away from Jang's fans in this drama in chained hands, Jang could not resist the temptation any more, and kissed Mary passionately. Mary responded the same in return.

In the drama, "Goong" (means palace), Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye kissed so passionately, especially at the section when Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye finally openly accepted each other's love, the long waited moment in the drama.

"Me too, Flower", despite being voted has the most underrated Korean drama series has an absolutely unforgettable kiss scene.

I think the romantic comedy drama, "Queen In-Hyun's man" has many very nice kiss scenes.  The two are real lovers while filming the drama, maybe that's why the kiss scenes are long and natural. They are actually kissing !! This drama proves that the Korean drama kiss scene has leap jump improved.

Way to go, Korean drama !!

Review

Oh,  I loved this movie. Excellent plots, excellent acting, extremely romantic and mesmerizing….
I think it has :
the best kissing scene
the best couple moments
and
both male roles were so convincing that whichever one that the main actress Mary chose, the audience would not mind so much.   In fact, some audiences preferred Mary chose the supporting actor, a rich guy who was so so perfect and not less romantic than the poor main actor. Nevertheless, Jang Geun Suk acted so well in this drama. In my opinion, he was more convincing acting in this drama than the other, “He is Beautiful” series. (I was fast forwarding often while watching “He  is beautiful”.)

Best Kissing Scene

In most Korean drama series, the kissing scenes are quite disappointing. The actor just touched the actress lips, not much passion involved.  But in this series, Jang Geun Suk kissed Moon Geun Young so passionately that I think he drove many young girls crazy !  Watch it in Episode 5 :

I think the other drama with excellent kissing scene is “Goong”, which can match this drama.

Best Couple Moments

There are so many couple’s beautiful moments in this drama - the pictures of Jang Geun Suk and Moon Geun Young together such as :
·         When Jang Geun Suk played the guitar and sang with Moon Geun Young beside him
·         When they skated together
·         When they got drunk together (first scene, wow that was good !)

Women of the Sun - Sisters in Love – Review

Rating : 8 out of 10

Mainly, it is a story about two sisters. The plots were very well written -  exciting, thoroughly thought of, refreshing, and will keep anyone watching till the end.  There are not many romantic scenes, but there are plenty of love stories. Both sisters have their own men whom they love, and the men are just so perfect - extremely thoughtful, mature, intelligent and supportive.

Every scene is well planned and exciting.  I didn’t fast forward any scene, which is my normal impatient behavior when watching a Korean drama with scenes I disliked.

The actors and actresses are so beautiful and handsome in this movie, and they acted so well.

It is really worth a watch !

My favourite romantic Scene

Ji Young in the drama
One of my favourite romantic scenes was when Ji Young and Joon Sae had a drink, and how Joon Sae realized that he made a mistake following his brain rather than his heart, when deciding on the woman he wanted to be with.  Joon Sae was a gentleman who kept his promise even if that went against his own will.  He still wanted to marry the woman he didn’t love since he promised her.  In this scene, he regretted over his decision.  Then, as Ji Young and Joon Sae walked in a underground tunnel, Ji Young again spoke openly about her feelings to Joon Sae.  Without a word, Joon Sae held Ji Young’s face, and kissed her.  He has rejected her so many times before this scene, hence his surprising act in this scene was so captivating !

The Most Touching Scene

As an adopted daughter, Do Young (below) was so unloved by her foster mother, and she craved of her mother's love so much to the extend that she did many wrong things in her life.  Before she committed suicide in the second last episode, her last words were that she were so sorry, she was just so"greedy" of her foster mother's love. That was the saddest and most touching scene.  She deserves an acting award for her excellent act in his drama.

Be prepared to cry to your heart's content in this drama.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal - Review

Rating : 7 stars out of 10

Sungkyunkwan Scandal  - a romantic comedy Korean drama to watch, which is filled with meaningful literature discussion, beautiful conversations and some comedy.  However, I often found myself fast forwarding some parts of the drama, which are long-winding and unnecessary plots.  You’ll probably do the same if you like only the romantic parts of the stories.

Favourite Scenes

Most of my favourite scenes are in Episode 16, after Sun Joon discovered that Joon Hee is a woman.
After falling into water, Sun Joon rescued Joon Hee, and followed him to his house. She then changed into his shirt and was about to sleep in his room, while Sun Joon mentioned that he would sleep outside. Then, his buttler came in and asked Joon Hee to persuade Sun Joon to go back to Sung Kyun Kwan, and then locked the door, leaving them with only one bed and one mattress, since he still didn't know Joon Hee's real identity. A really romantic and funny scene is when the buttler mentioned that Sun Joon has been having trouble sleeping, eating and studying due to lovesick, as if his sole has been stolen away, right in front of Joon Hee, whom he has confessed his love to. It was so embarrassing for Sun Joon, while Joon Hee pretended that she didn’t hear the conversation.
Another really funny scene is when both Sun Joon and Jae Shin fight for sleeping position, with the intention to protect Yoon Hee, knowing that she is in fact a woman disguised as man. Both normally-decent-acting gentlemen looked so childish in the fight. And then, Goo Yong Ha came in to add into the mess (he wanted to sleep in the same room too) and solve the problem at the same time (Joon Hee would sleep in Yong Ha’s room.)  That was an awesome scene.

Another really romantic and funny scene is when Sun Joon tried to kiss Yoon Hee, and their hats are blocking the way.

Then, Sun Joon did it right in the second attempt to kiss Yoon Hee.  It happened in a manual-operated lift.  In the lift, Yoon Hee fell into Sun Joon when the lift shook. After putting Yoon Hee to standing position, Sun Joon slowly remove Yoon Hee’s hat, then his own, before bending towards Yoon Hee to kiss her gently on her lips.  Aw…. So romantic indeed, watch this :
