Queen In-hyun's Man really taken me by surprised with its interesting, creative and romantic plots. The story kept me watching it from beginning till the end.  It is another top Korean drama that will mesmerize you with vivid memory after watching it is.
The story revolved around time travel, a bit similar to “Back to the Future”, but the plot is entirely different. The author uses time travel as the background of the story, and adds on romantic details which are beyond your predictions. Summary of the story goes like this:
Year 1694, Joseon Dynasty: Kim Boong-do (Ji Hyun-woo) is a scholar loved by the emperor at that time. However, he did not live long enough to enjoy his success. His family and later he himself were killed in a conspiracy. Queen In-hyun, was also deposed due to a scheme by royal concubine Lady Jang. 
Year 2012, modern-day Seoul: Choi Hee-jin (Yoo In-na), is a struggling actress, who experienced a twist in her career when she is cast as Queen In-hyun in the television drama "New Jang Heebin".
With the help of a mysterious talisman, whenever Boong-do’s life is threatened, he will time-travel to 2012, where he crosses paths with Hee-jin.  Due to 300 years of differences, Boon-do has a culture shock and a series of funny incidents take place. However, a fast learner himself, he is able to learn to adapt the new world. He uses the time travel, re-creates the history, and reinstates the queen.

With Hee-jin’s help, Boong-do went to the library to read about the history in year 1694 and learnt that the people behind the conspiracy were severely punished with death sentence.  He was thrilled with what he read and asked Hee-jin, “What do you do when you are overjoyed (in modern-day)?”. Hee-jin replied, “We normally hug the other person.” And Boong-do just hugged her. She was stunned ! Hee-jin is already attracted to this tall and good looking noble man, a hug from him melt her to the bone. 
Then in the lift, Boong-do said that he will not need to see her again as he knows how to get the library himself.  Hee-jin is so sad to hear that, unable to control herself, she kisses him out of a sudden, for fear of not able to see him again. Then she explained herself to him vehemently that, this is the way to say good bye in today's world.  Boong-do is startled and believing her, he said that in his time, only lovers kiss.
Then Hee-jin’s manager appears and insists on knowing this mysterious man. She offers to drive him to the nearby garden to drop him off. When they reach there and about to depart, she just said, “Good bye” to him, (no kisses). Boong-do wondered and asked her, “Is that all you do to say good bye”?  Then she waved her hands.  Sitting at the back seat of the car, Hee-jin was so embarrassed.

The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry (2010)

I totally enjoyed this drama. It is really funny and romantic at the same time. 

This romantic and comedy drama talks about three female friends in their mid-thirties, who are still not married, a bit similar to the American series, "Sex and the City", but minus out the sex. (Korean drama is seldom talking about sex anyway.) The first woman, a Korean-English translator Da-jung (Uhm Ji-won)  is desperate to find the right man and marry herself off, but she will not settle for anything less than the perfect man. She is miserable and frustrated over one wrong man after another. 

The second woman, a successful and attractive broadcast journalist Shin-young (Park Jin-hee) desires true love, but often finds herself torn between highly demand workload and relationship. After a few failed relationships, she has become pessimistic about committing herself to the right man. 

The third woman, Bu-ki (Wang Bit-na), is a gorgeous, sophisticated, confidence, successful restaurant consultant and owner. Bu-ki seems to have the answer to every question from the first two women. She is perfectly happy to remain single forever, after experiencing and breaking off a disappointed engagement. She doesn't believe in marriage any more, and finds happiness being single. 

Of all three women’s stories, the romance between the broadcast journalist Shin-young and Min-Jae (Kim Bum) is most romantic. Kim Bum's role was just so-so in "Boys Before Flower". Here in this drama, he really caught my attention. 

Kim Bum played the role of a college student and talented musician. He sings so well and is so good looking - a man of every girl’s dream. Shin-young and Min-Jae had a unfavourable first encounter, where Shin-young cuts his guitar string, when she finds him noisily disturbing. 

Then, the story continued where it started with a bet - Kim Bum bet with a friend that he could win Shin-young's heart. Out of Kim Bum's expectation, a game turned into true love. Kim Bum found himself falling for a women 12 years older than him, and she is not returning his love, as easily as other girls. His pursuance is so persistent and romantic. Shin-young was moved many times but could not believe how she could end up with a man twelve years younger than her. Several rejections from the pessimistic Shin-young did not make Min-Jae give up.

“My love for you is real,” says Min-jae to Shin-young. “Just because I’m young, that does not mean I do not know how to love or I love less.”

At one point, Shin-young decides to throw away all her concerns, and tells Min-jae, in whisper that he could barely hear:

At this point in my life, I love you… more than anything else in the world.

Love Rain

If you always enjoy Jang Geun Suk's acting, don't miss this drama !!  Some review has mentioned how so-so this Korean drama is.  I didn't think so.  I think it is another awesomely romantic drama you should not missed. I totally enjoyed it. The love story was great ! 

The drama talked about the first love of a couple, Seo In-Ha (Jang Geun Suk) and Kim Yoon-Hee (Yoona). In-Ha is a talented art student while Yoon-Hee is a shy beauty. They bumped into each other in college and fell in love in 1970’s. Seo In-Ha would only paint the woman he loves. Love at first sight, In-Ha secretly painted Yoon-Hee while she was reading in the garden, from the window of his room.  

Unfortunately, fate was not on their side, and they had to go separate way.  In-Ha stayed in Korea to finish his studies, while Yoon-Hee was fatally sick and went to US to seek treatment. In-Ha thought Yoon-Hee has passed away from rumour he received, so he married another woman whom he didn't really love. He had a divorce 20 years later, since he could not forget Yoon-Hee. 

Thirty years later, their children, Seo In-Ha’s son, Seo-Joon (Jang Geun Suk), a bold and talented photographer, met and fell in love with Kim Yoon-Hee’s daughter, Kim Ha-Na (Yoona), a cheerful girl who enjoyed gardening as much as her mother. 

Before meeting Yoon-Hee, Seo-Joon did not believe in romance, after seeing how his father suffer from his unforgettable first love, Yoon-Hee, and left his mother. He flirted with celebrities who often tried to please him. Indifferent to Seo-Joon’s fame, Ha-Na hurt his pride and caught his attention.

At the same time, Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee met by coincidence, and Seo In Ha would not take another chance to lose her again. How would these tangled up love stories unfold, watch and you will know. 

If you like to watch “Winter Sonata”, you will enjoy this drama which reunited director Yoon Suk Ho and screenwriter Oh Soo Yun of “Autumn Tale” and “Winter Sonata” after ten years.
